On June 1, 2023, Public Defender Levan Ioseliani participated in an event "Don't Take Away Childhood" organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The event was held in connection with the launch of an information campaign against child marriage.

The main goals of the campaign are to eliminate crimes related to early marriage, to raise public awareness and to ensure that this category of crimes are timely reported to the law enforcement agencies.

In his speech, the Public Defender spoke about the importance of the measures to be taken for the prevention of early marriage and emphasized the need for coordinated work between the agencies in this process.
