On June 27, 2024, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, within the framework of his visit to Strasbourg, Veronika Bílková, met with the Vice-President of the Venice Commission.

The possibility of cooperation between the Venice Commission and the Public Defender’s Office of Georgia was discussed at the meeting.

The parties also talked about various reports prepared by the Commission, including the report on the draft law "On transparency of foreign influence".
