Working Meeting with Representatives of Parliament’s Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, Standing Parliamentary Councils for Gender Equality and Rights of the Child
On December 27, 2022, the Public Defender’s Office of Georgia held a working meeting with representatives of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, the Standing Parliamentary Council for Gender Equality and the Standing Parliamentary Council for the Protection of the Rights of the Child.
At the working meeting, acting Public Defender Tamar Gvaramadze spoke about the mandate and specifics of the Public Defender's activities, as well as the special reports prepared by the Office in 2020-2022.
The Chairman of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Mikheil Sarjveladze, emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation for better protection of human rights in the future.
