On November 11, 2024, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with Heidi Grau, Ambassador of Switzerland to Georgia.

The current situation of human rights, including the challenges faced by representatives of ethnic minorities and the mandate of the Public Defender’s Office, as well as the violations identified during the elections and the response made by the Public Defender within the scope of his authority, were discussed at the meeting.

The parties agreed on the prospects of deepening further cooperation and continuing work on joint projects.
