On June 8, 2023, Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani met with Romanian Ambassador to Georgia Răzvan Rotundu.

At the introductory meeting, Levan Ioseliani introduced the mandate of the Public Defender and the priorities of the Office to the Ambassador. Other topics of discussion included the state of human rights in the country, the European perspective of Georgia and Romania's experience in this direction. The parties expressed readiness for future cooperation.
