Seminar on Human Security Monitoring - Gender-Sensitive Monitoring Tool

On February 13-14, 2024, a seminar - “Human Security Monitoring - Gender-Sensitive Monitoring Tool” was held for the employees of the Public Defender’s Office and representatives of non-governmental organizations. International expert Zara Jarvinen led the seminar.

The purpose of the event was to increase the participants' awareness of issues of gender-sensitive human security monitoring, to share international practices, to assess the security situation of conflict-affected victims and displaced people from a gender perspective.

During the two-day working meeting, participants discussed the challenges in the direction of human security in the country and received information on all important issues for them.

The seminar was held with the support of the UN Women project - "Accelerating Effective Implementation of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda in Georgia" - which is supported by the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund of the British Government.
