Public Defender Levan Ioseliani echoes the insulting statements and remarks made towards female MPs at the plenary session of the Parliament of Georgia.

"The Public Defender’s Office will evaluate in detail the statements that reinforce discrimination against female politicians and will definitely reflect the issue in a report. Prior to that, I will just say that no matter how difficult it is to listen to a different opinion, using this kind of phrases towards women is unacceptable to me. Talking to women in a similar manner does not dignify anyone and only incites discriminatory attitude towards women."
