On 13 December 2018, students of Kutaisi Niko Nikoladze School-Lyceum visited the Public Defender’s Office of Georgia and met with Public Defender Nino Lomjaria and the Head of the Center for Child's Rights, Maia Gedevanishvili.

Nino Lomjaria talked about the human rights situation in the country and the Public Defender’s mandate. Other topics of the meeting were bullying and its prevention, cyber-bullying and its possible grave consequences, the importance of civic education, the significant role of social workers in the protection of the rights of children living and working on the street; international examples were brought as well.

The students showed interest in the Khorava Street case and the Public Defender's involvement in it.
