On October 4, 2022, the Public Defender’s Office organized a round table for the Ministry of Justice and the agencies operating within its system.

During the meeting, First Deputy Public Defender Tamar Gvaramadze spoke about the mandate and specifics of the activity of the Public Defender’s Office. The meeting participants also discussed issues of strategic communication and cooperation with the Public Defender’s Office.

The round table was attended by high officials from the General Inspectorate LEPL, Public Registry LEPL, Service Development Agency LEPL, National Enforcement Bureau LEPL, House of Justice LEPL and their services, as well as the Special Penitentiary Service.

The event was held within the framework of the agreement programme between the Public Defender’s Office and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
