On June 9, 2023, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with Lela Janashvili, Head of the Personal Data Protection Service.

At the meeting, the Public Defender received information about the challenges in the field of personal data protection, the agency's activities, current projects and future plans. The parties emphasized the importance of close cooperation between the agencies.

Lela Janashvili congratulated the Public Defender on his election to the position and wished him success in his future activities.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Public Defender, Tamar Gvaramadze, and the First Deputy Head of the Personal Data Protection Service, Otar Chakhunashvili, as well as representatives of the Personal Data Protection Service.
