On July 16, 2023, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with Adam Shantadze, Mufti of the Administrationof All Muslims of Georgia.

The Public Defender received information about the activities of the Administration, and showed interest in the challenges and needs related to the rights situation of the Muslim community.

Levan Ioseliani emphasized the long-term cooperation between the Public Defender’s Office and the Administrationof All Muslims of Georgia and noted that creating an equal environment for religious confessions was a priority for the Public Defender.
