Public Defender Observes Election Process

On October 26, 2024, Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani visited the villages of Nazarlo and Kesalo of Gardabani municipality and observed the newly introduced process of voting by using electronic technologies.

The Public Defender also met and spoke with voters, representatives of the election administration and independent observers.

According to the observation on the ground and information received, the elections in the villages are taking place without any unforeseen obstacles at this stage.

The Public Defender expresses hope that the parliamentary elections will pass in a civil manner, without incidents and physical confrontations.

In addition, the Public Defender once again urges the citizens that if their right to vote is violated, or if they become aware of the restriction of this right, to definitely contact the Public Defender's Office via hotline - 1481.
