On March 22, 2023, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with Salome Zourabichvili, President of Georgia.

At the introductory meeting, the President congratulated the Public Defender on his election to the position and wished him success. The parties talked about the standards of democratic values and importance of independence of the institution.

Salome Zourabichvili expressed her support to the Public Defender in conducting human rights activities in the country and expressed readiness for cooperation.
