On April 26, 2024, Public Defender Levan Ioseliani and Deputy Public Defender Irine Chikhladze met with public schools students and teachers in different municipalities of Adjara.

The Public Defender introduced them to the mandate of the Office, talked about children's rights, child marriage, child labour, and bullying, including in the Internet space. He also drew attention to the role of the school in overcoming the challenges of education and protection of children's rights.

Children actively participated in the discussion. At the end, the Public Defender gave students informational materials regarding the rights of the child.

The meeting was organized by the Batumi Education, Development and Employment Center.
