Project objectives: To strengthen the Public Defender's office in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region and to raise awareness of the local population on human rights and freedoms.

Project activities:
During the project representatives of the Public Defender held regular information field meetings in various districts and villages of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, during which the population was able to submit applications and complaints to the Public Defender about violations of human rights. For the same purpose 3 contact persons were selected from various districts. In addition, trainings were held for the regional media and students.
