On March 26-28, 2018, the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) and the Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR) are organizing a training course on business and human rights in Tbilisi.
The course is intended for the employees of the European national human rights institutions working on the issues of business and human rights and its aim is to clearly define the role of national human rights institutions in the field of business.
During the three-day meetings, by guidance of experts from the Danish Institute for Human Rights, Dirk Hoffmann and Daniel Morris, participants will discuss the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rightsand the role of national institutions in implementing these principles. It should be noted that these very principles define the role of a state and business in the field of protection of human rights.
