On March 19, 2025, Public Defender's representatives, including a doctor employed by the Public Defender's Office, visited defendant Giorgi Chikvaidze in Penitentiary Institution No. 8. They also spoke with the medical staff of the Penitentiary Service.

The public is aware that Giorgi Chikvaidze has declared a hunger strike. At the moment, his health condition is worth paying attention and he is under the supervision of doctors.
