On January 24, 2024, in connection with the International Day of Education, students of the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Technical University of Georgia visited the Public Defender’s Office.

At the meeting, Deputy Public Defender Elene Ghudushauri introduced the authority of the institution, guarantees of its implementation, composition and structure of the Office to the students.

Gvantsa Davitashvili, Head of the Department of Human Rights Education, spoke about the importance of integrating human rights education into training programmes; At the same time, she emphasized the preventive role of human rights education for the protection of human rights.

Students showed special interest in the work of the Public Defender's Office in the field of non-formal education.
