On 8-9 February 2019, Public Defender Nino Lomjaria, Deputies of the Public Defender, Giorgi Burjanadze and Catherine Skhiladze and representatives of the Public Defender’s Office, together with Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Natia Mezvrishvili and representatives of the Ministry, are discussing the situation of implementation of the recommendations envisaged in the Parliament’s Resolution on the Public Defender’s Report, existing barriers and the challenges that emerged in 2018. The meeting is supported by the Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG), a project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
