Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with His EminenceArchbishop José Bettencourt, Envoy of the Holy See (Vatican Ambassador) to Georgia.

The Archbishop congratulated the Public Defender on his election to the position and emphasized the long-term cooperation between the institutions. Levan Ioseliani paid particular attention to the historical past of the Catholic Church in Georgia and noted that the support of religious confessions was one of the main priorities of the Public Defender.
