On June 27, 2024, Georgian Public Defender Levan Ioseliani met with Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets in Strasbourg.

The parties discussed the state of human rights in Ukraine and Georgia, the situation of Ukrainian citizens affected by the war and the processes ongoing for their rehabilitation.

The Public Defender invited the Ombudsman of Ukraine to Georgia in order to deepen relations and cooperation.
