Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani met with students of L. Margvelashvili School XXI Century LLC and introduced the mandate of the Public Defender’s Office to them. The Public Defender spoke about the activities of the Office in the direction of protection of human rights and the importance of human rights education in the school environment. During the discussion, participants discussed children's rights, education, environmental protection and protection of the rights of minors in penitentiary institutions.

The Public Defender answered children's questions concerning his activities and priorities. The school students expressed their desire for future meetings with the Public Defender and discussion on issues of human rights education.
