Public Defender Observes Procedure of Meeting/Allocating Passengers at Airport in Case of Detection of COVID-19

On July 20, 2020, at the Tbilisi airport, Public Defender Nino Lomjaria and First Deputy Public Defender Tamar Gvaramadze observed the procedure of meeting/allocating the Georgian citizens arriving from Amsterdam in the context of COVID-19.

Nino Tsatsiashvili, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vazha Siradze, Head of the Patrol Police Department and representatives of the Main Division of Border Management and Coordination informed the Public Defender of the procedures of passport control, placement of passengers in quarantine and self-isolation, thermo-screening, etc; the Public Defender has also been briefed on the specifics of the work of the National Center for Disease Control and the documentation that are mandatory to be filled in.
