On January 16-17, 2024, Georgian Public Defender Levan Ioseliani will travel to Ankara, where he will hold official meetings with the Chief Ombudsman of Türkiye, Mr. Şeref Malkoç, the Chairman of the Human Rights and EqualityInstitution, MuharremKılıç, and members of the National Preventive Mechanism.

Within the framework of the visit, official meetings will also be held with the Minister of Justice, Mr. Yılmaz Tunç, the Chairperson of the Committee on Equal Opportunity for Women and Men at GNAT, Ms. Çiğdem Erdoğan Atabek, and the President of the Court of Cassation, Mr. Mehmet Akarca.
