The Armenian Apostolic Church, as well as Catholic, Evangelical-Lutheran and other Churches that follow the Western calendar, celebrate the Easter holiday on March 27. The Public Defender of Georgia congratulatesour fellow citizens that follow the mentioned churches on the holiday and wish them courage and prosperity.

The Public Defender stresses that religious diversity and the tradition of tolerance have always been special features of Georgia. It is our duty to appreciate the contribution of different religions to our social, cultural, scientific and artistic life and to wish them to contribute more to the development of our country and to peacefully coexist with us.
