On 24 October 2019, representatives of the Public Defender's Kvemo Kartli Office, Irma Mchedlidze and Murad Guseinov, met with school students of Marneuli and Bolnisi villages and the city of Marneuli in connection with the 74^th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations. The meeting was held in the Marneuli Youth Center.

The representatives of the Public Defender briefed the students on the importance of the establishment of the United Nations and its role in achieving universal peace, as well as the functions, structure, and principles of the organization, in both Georgian and Azerbaijani languages.

The students also received information about the mandate of the Public Defender of Georgia and the activities of the Public Defender’s Kvemo Kartli Office.
