On October 17, Georgia marks Veterans Day. The Public Defender of Georgia, Levan Ioseliani, congratulates the population of Georgia, thanks the Georgian veterans, including the veteran employees of the Public Defender's Office, who participated in the hostilities in Abkhazia and Samachablo, and wishes them appropriate recognition for their dedication to the homeland.

It should also be noted that the Public Defender's Office has been actively working on veterans' issues for years and has prepared a number of constitutional claims at various times regarding the protection of veterans' social rights.
