On December 9, 2024, Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani met with EU Ambassador to Georgia Pawel Herczynski.

The recent developments in the country, challenges in terms of protecting freedom of expression, and use of excessive force by law enforcement officers, as well as the situation of those detained and injured during the protests and the examination of their cases by the Special Investigation Service, were discussed at the meeting.
