On February 1, 2024, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with BergljotHovland, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to Georgia.

At the introductory meeting, Levan Ioseliani introduced the mandate and priorities of the Public Defender’s Office to the Ambassador. They reviewed the situation of human rights in the country and the specifics of the Public Defender's work; They also talked about the great experience of the Kingdom of Norway in terms of the protection of human rights and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation.
