On April 20, 2023, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with Kemlin Furley, Head of the UNHCR Office in Georgia.

At the introductory meeting, the parties discussed the situation of refugees, asylum seekers and internally displaced persons in Georgia, as well as prospects of deepening cooperation in this direction, and emphasized the issues of the rights situation of refugees from Ukraine.
