On March 27, 2023, Public Defender Levan Ioseliani met with UNDP Resident Representative inGeorgia Nick Beresford.

At the introductory meeting, Nick Beresford congratulated Levan Ioseliani on his election to the Public Defender’s position and wished him success.

The long-term cooperation between the ombudsman’s office and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) was emphasized at the meeting. In addition, it was noted that support in human rights activities would continue and strengthen as needed.
