On May 1, 2023, Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani visited the 12^th closed and semi-open penitentiary establishment of Rustavi.

Levan Ioseliani talked to prisoners, met with the facility’s administration, viewed infrastructure and inspected living conditions.

The Public Defender continues to monitor penitentiary facilities.
