On 19 July 2019, the Public Defender's Office and the Human DOC organized a working meeting dedicated to the problems of deaf-blind persons in Georgia. Information about Creation of Support System for Deaf-blind Persons in Georgia, a project being carried out with the help of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, was introduced at the meeting.

Existing challenges and measures to be taken by the state to resolve the challenges were also discsussed at the meeting.
