Training for Employees of Public Defender’s Office on New Law on Personal Data Protection

On April 14, 20 and 21, 2024, a training was held for the employees of the Public Defender's Office on the new Law on Personal Data Protection. The training was led by invited expert Ketevan Kratsashvili.

At the training, the expert introduced the participants to the new Law on Personal Data Protection, the basic principles and procedures of data processing.

An important part of the training was devoted to the discussion of practical examples and cases. The training took place in the discussion and Q&A mode.

The event was held within the frameowrk of the USAID-PDO partnership programme of the grant agreement between the Public Defender’s Office and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
