On October 18, 2024, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, and Tamar Gvaramadze, First Deputy Public Defender, met with Meline Arakelian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Netherlands to Georgia, and Maurice Paulussen, Deputy Head of the Mission.

The parties discussed the state of human rights protection in the country in the pre-election period and the supervisory role of the Public Defender in the election process.
