The Public Defender of Georgia condemns assaults on Giorgi Gakharia and journalist Zviad Koridze and calls on the investigative services to identify those responsible and to quickly and fully conduct all investigative and procedural actions, including obtaining video recordings, interviewing witnesses, etc.

The Public Defender considers it important to respond immediately to the above facts so that attacks on politicians and journalists are not incited.
