According to the information available to the Public Defender, an investigation has already been launched into the case.

The Public Defender calls on the investigative bodies to respond in a timely and effective manner. At the same time, it is necessary to identify all the persons who allegedly violated the rights of the minor. Along with the aforementioned, it is important to assess the needs of the child and to provide appropriate psycho-social services.

In addition, we call on all media outlets, regardless of the high public interest, to ensure the protection of children's privacy and to consider their best interests as much as possible, so as not to retraumatize them.

The Public Defender, within his mandate, will examine the mentioned case.
