On March 7, 2024, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, and Tamar Gvaramadze, First Deputy Public Defender of Georgia, met with Davit Asatiani, Chairman of the Bar Association, and Giorgi Chekhani, Executive Director of the Bar Association.

At the meeting held in the Association, the parties discussed the prioritiy activities of the Public Defender and the Bar Association, ongoing reforms, as well as the challenges of justice in Georgia.

The parties also agreed on future cooperation to improve the quality of the protection of human rights in the court.
