On October 17, 2023, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met withSanja Celebic Lukovac, Chief of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission to Georgia, and Program Coordinator Marc Hulst.

The topic of discussion at the introductory meeting was the rights situation of migrants, including their integration, employment and protection from discrimination.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has been working closely with the Public Defender’s Office for years. The possibilities for continuing and deepening cooperation were also discussed at the meeting.
