On February 26, 2025, Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, met with Lars Johan Lönnback, Chiefof Mission for theInternational Organization for Migration(IOM) in Georgia.

Issues related to the protection of migrants' rights in Georgia and the activities carried out by the Public Defender's Office in this direction in recent years were discussed at the introductory meeting.

The parties also agreed to continue and deepen their long-standing cooperation.
