On January 24, 2024, the Public Defender of Georgia addressed the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia with a recommendation and requested to take appropriate measures to restore the violated constitutional rights of N.J., acting director of Public School No. 2 of Abkhazia in Tbilisi.

After studying the case, the Public Defender of Georgia established that the order of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia - on the termination of the authority of the acting director of the public school - was unsubstantiated, and was prepared and issued in violation of the rules established by the legislation of Georgia, which led to the unjustified violation of N.J.'s right and created grounds for the annulment of the mentioned decision.
