On 31 October 2019, the Public Defender's Office of Georgia and Human DOC organized a working meeting on the problems relating to the deaf and blind persons’ right to education in Georgia.

The event was attended by representatives of organizations working on the above issue, state agencies and persons with disabilities. The challenges faced by persons with disabilities and the measures taken by the State were discussed at the meeting.
