The Public Defender's Office would like to respond to the disinformation voiced in Formula TV story regarding the Public Defender's response to the alleged sexual harassment of Natia Dzidziguri by police officers.

We would like to clarify to the public that a representative of the Public Defender's Office contacted Natia Dzidziguri on November 25 and informed her that the Office would examine her case and request information from all relevant agencies. She was also informed in detail of the mandate of the Public Defender and the procedures for filing a complaint with the Public Defender's Office.

Based on the above, the Public Defender's Office, within the framework of its mandate, will examine the case materials in detail and will additionally inform the public about the results.
