The Public Defender's Office held an an information event about child’s rights in connection with the Children's Day in the city of Akhaltsikhe on June 1, 2018. Within the framework of the event, children were presented with information brochures about access to water and sanitation, as well as the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child; they were also provided with information about the activities of the Public Defender in the field of protection of child’s rights and the mandate of the Public Defender.

The event was held within the framework of the project “Human Right to Access to Safe Water and Sanitation” financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
