On May 28, 2018, Nino Lomjaria, the Public Defender of Georgia, met with Simone Filippini, the Executive Director of the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD). The mandate of the Public Defender of Georgia, activities of the Public Defender’s Office, human rights situation, challenges and ongoing reforms in the country were discussed at the meeting.
